About Ellovart Studio

Ellovart Studio was developed from the belief that art education should go beyond step-by-step copying. After years of teaching in classrooms and witnessing the increasing pressure of standardized approaches to learning, Ellovart Studio was created to offer meaningful artistic experiences that involve choice. These learning experiences nurture creativity, critical thinking, and authentic self-expression.

Ellovart lessons blend strong artistic foundations with contemporary and historical art influences, encouraging students to think like artists—making choices, taking risks, and developing their own visual voice. The goal is to inspire young artists, build confidence, and strengthen lifelong creative habits!

About Jessica Forrestal

I am a practicing artist and art educator based in Denver, Colorado. I hold an MFA from Pratt Institute and I am an experienced, licensed K-12 art educator.

My approach to art education is rooted in curiosity, experimentation, and creative problem solving. Rather than teaching students to copy; I focus on helping them build skills, think independently, and develop confidence in their own ideas. My lessons combine hands-on material exploration with connections to contemporary artists and global traditions.
